

The Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, and civic interest of Buffalo, Missouri and its trade area. • Annual Leadership Luncheon - May 7 - The Annual Leadership Luncheon, will be held
in the Buffalo High School Cafeteria at 12:45 p.m.
Zach McMillan will be the Keynote Speaker. He is the son of Robert and
Charlotte McMillan and a graduate of Buffalo High School and Drury
University. He is employed by Heim and Young in Springfield.
• Woods Ribbon Cutting and Grand Re-Opening - May 9 - The Chamber will host a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Re-Opening ceremony for
Woods Supermarket in Buffalo on at noon. Chamber members
will be treated to lunch, customers will celebrate with cake and Coca-Cola products, and balloons will be available for the kids. Prize
items will also be given away.
• Buffalo Day at the Cardinals Ballpark - May 30 - Springfield's Hammons Field. Ticket and t-shirt packages are $20
per person or $70 for a set of four. Stop by the Chamber office to
reserve your seats. The deadline is May 23.
First Pitch Draft - Chamber members can pick a draft from their
employees or families. Donation jars for the candidates will be located
in the Chamber business which nominated them. The candidate who raises
the most money will throw out the first pitch and will be published in
the Buffalo Reflex on May 28. Money collection deadline is May 22 at
noon. Call the Chamber Office at 345-2852 or e-mail to chamber@buffalococ.com with your draft choice prior to May 12.
• City Wide Garage Sale - June 7 - Spaces are available, for $5 each, around the Courthouse on the square
in Buffalo. Anyone interested in reserving a space should stop by
the Chamber office.
• Wheel Chair Race - June 7 - Lawrence is asking that all of you participate in this year's Wheel
Chair Race, which will be held at 10:00 a.m.,
starting at the Engles Senior Center. Download the information
